Woking fought back well in the second quarter to reduce the deficit to six points at half time with their larger squad beginning to tell. The break came at the right time for Winchester as they re-established a 10 point advantage going into the final quarter.

However, again Woking fought hard in the final quarter with an outstanding contribution from Annabelle Hardiman who dominated the quarter as Winchester began to tire. KARL TAYLOR PLATE

 Yateley Silverbacks 1   88   Woking Blackhawks 2  75

Yateley Silverbacks 1st team are currently riding high in Division 1 of the league whilst Woking 2nd team are id table in Division 2 so on paper this seemed like it would be a relatively easy game for Silverbacks.  However, due to non-availability of some of their players, Silverbacks were put to the test by Woking who led after the 1st quarter by 4 points.  The second quarter went Silverbacks way as they took a slim 2 point advantage into the break.  The critical quarter was the third as Silverbacks piled on the pressure and built a 21 point lead going into the final quarter.  Woking never lost heart however and reduced the deficit  to 13 points by the end of the game.  MVP was awarded to Curtis Pearson of Woking for an outstanding shooting exhibition sinking 8 3 pointers during the game.
