Ladies avenge cup loss

Home to Woodly Wildcats, Wednesday 25th November, Won 54-43

Having lost to Woodley in the season opener and made an early exit from the cup competition the ladies were determined to put in a better show as they two sides met again this time in league competition.

Woking took the early advantage but Woodley pulled them back to make it a 2-point game at the end of the 1st quarter. Woking however came out al guns blazing in the seond quarter with Annabelle, Jo and Elena all finding the basket early on coupled with strong defence to take the team on a 9-0 run. The ladies continued the pressure into the third quarter before running out 54-43 winners. A truely full team effort!

Top scorer was Annabelle with 17 points.
